Our Captive
Plate . . . Easy to Assemble . . . Can't Fall Off
Follow these easy steps to
assemble your plant marker. |

1. Orient the
plate with the flanges facing upward and the post with the bent portion of
the legs facing upward as shown in picture one. |
 |
2. With
the plate and post in the above orientation, insert the ends of the legs
into the two round holes of the plate as shown in picture two. |
 |
3. Slide
the plate along the legs until it passes around the bend in the legs as
shown in picture three. |
 |
4.
Continue sliding the plate until it is positioned beyond the closed loop
end of the legs as shown in picture four. |

5.
Reverse the sliding direction of the plate being sure to thread the closed
loop end of the legs thru the oblong hole in the flange of the plate as
shown in picture five. |

6. The
Kincaid Gardens fully assembled plant marker in its "garden ready"
position. |
 |
7.
Kincaid Gardens plant marker with the plate in it's "captured"
position...it can't fall off....Your plate can only come off by reversing
the procedure above. If by chance it should slip to the position shown in
picture seven, it is stopped at the loop and still remains in an easily
read position. |
